The changes to the GMC Terrain are minor for 2016 with a few exceptions. The most obvious updates are the C-shaped brackets around the fog lights that make the entire SUV seem wider, with a more aggressive stance.
There are new grilles for several trims, including a new mesh version for the top-of-the-line Terrain Denali.Â
Inside, there are also a few changes like new upholstery options, including lighter hues that shoppers requested, according to GMC. The CD player has been ejected, a sign of the technological times and undoubtedly a weight-saving move.
SUV sales are booming and the Terrain remains a strong-seller years after it was introduced. These changes, however, aren’t exceptional and could make the outgoing 2015 model more appealing to shoppers. Â
