One gripe heard from many auto reviewers about the much-acclaimed Toyota Prius was the hybrid’s rough ride. So when Toyota announced it would release a Touring edition for 2007, we naturally assumed it would address this noticeable flaw. However, the Touring edition actually adds larger wheels — 16-inch alloys — a beefier spoiler, high-intensity headlamps and fog lamps, and a tuned suspension for improved handling, but nothing to help the ride. The Touring edition goes on sale next month for $23,070. The standard 2007 Prius starts at $22,175.
