Toyota FT-4X Concept Review Video

CARS.COM — The Toyota FT-4X concept is a new subcompact SUV aimed at “urban millennials” who are “casualcore” (the opposite of hardcore, maybe?) and looking for a vehicle to match their active lifestyles. When first teased in the lead up to the 2017 New York International Auto Show, we were hoping to see a revival of the FJ Cruiser off-roader and another competitor to the Jeep Wrangler — and perhaps the upcoming Ford Bronco.

Instead, this is a subcompact SUV based on the C-HR platform with power outlets on the roof(!?), a smartphone dock in lieu of a multimedia system (ugh) and vents that can act as dryers for wet gear or hair (the footage of this in action is incredible).
