Nissan’s compact Sentra sedan got overhauled for 2020 with more exciting styling, a tech-focused interior and a long list of standard safety and driver-assistance features, along with a new four-cylinder engine. In a close finish, a well-equipped 2020 Sentra ranked second overall in our comparison with the rival Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla sedans. For 2021, changes are very minor and highlighted by wider adoption of standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across the lineup.
For 2021, the Sentra is again available in S, SV and SR trims and the sedan starts at $20,360 with the destination fee — $100 more than the model-year 2020 sedan. Prices rise by $100 on all trims.
The biggest news is that for the 2021 model year, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard on all trims; the smartphone integration systems were previously available only on SV and SR grades. A Wi-Fi hot spot is now available on the SR grade, as is a new two-tone paint combination: Electric Blue Metallic with a black roof.
The 2021 Nissan Sentra is on sale now.
