Trying to keep people’s eyes glued on the 2011 Chevy Camaro convertible and away from the new 2011 Dodge Charger, GM in its infinite wisdom released more photos of the upcoming model today. We now have a clear shot of the interior, the tonneau cover and the front of the car.
The Camaro convertible will start at $29,150, not including an $850 destination charge. It goes on sale during the wintery month of February.
Also today, GM and Neiman Marcus announced they’re teaming up to build 100 special-edition Camaro convertibles, which will be sold in the retailer’s Christmas catalog.
The Neiman Marcus Edition starts with the same powertrain and equipment as the Camaro SS, but it features exclusive 21-inch wheels. The exterior is painted with a tri-coat Deep Bordeaux exterior paint and has a color-matched fabric top and a windshield frame painted with a matte silver finish. The interior will include amber-colored leather upholstery.
The Neiman Marcus Edition Camaro convertible has a retail price of $75,000. It will be ready for delivery in spring 2011. The retailer will begin taking orders on Oct. 19.
