Mini Clubman Enters Its Final Year, Starts at $35,045

The 2024 Mini Clubman will roll over from the previous model year mostly unchanged except for minor updates to the line’s technology features and trim options. Following a tough few years of low sales, the Clubman will be put to rest, making the hatchback’s 2024 model year its last one stateside. As a sort of farewell tour, Mini is commemorating the end of the Clubman’s run with the introduction of the limited-run Final Edition variant. The base Mini Clubman Cooper S starts at $35,045 (all pricing includes $995 destination charge).

Trims and Special Editions
Mini is paying homage to the Clubman in its final year of production with a special Final Edition variant. As a tribute to the 1969 Clubman, only 1,969 units will be produced globally. Fewer than 100 units of the Final Edition will be available to U.S. customers through a preorder reservation process. The Final Edition will be available in three exterior colors — Nanuq White, Enigmatic Black and Melting Silver III — with copper-colored grille surround and wheels. Its interior features namesake lettering on the door sills and the bottom spoke of the leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Offering a lower-priced option for fans of the Clubman, the base Classic trim returns and comes in Chili Red, but buyers will have the option of a $650 upgrade to Nanuq White, Midnight Black II or six other color options. The mid-range variant in the lineup, the Signature trim now gets standard navigation, which includes real-time traffic information.
To continue its lineup of special editions, Mini is also offering the Untold Edition, which is available in Sage Green or Midnight Black with brass exterior and interior accents.

Performance
The Clubman continues into 2024 with a standard 189-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The top-of-the-line performance model, the John Cooper Works All4, generates 301 hp with the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder combined with an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard on the Cooper S, and all-wheel drive is available; the John Cooper Works variant comes with AWD only.
