The 2023 GLC SUV benefits from an evolutionary suite of updates. Its exterior sees reworked LED headlights, a redesigned grille and slimmer taillights. The interior is where the bulk of the updates are, with the GLC being the latest Mercedes model to add the most updated version of the brand’s MBUX infotainment system, which offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. An 11.9-inch touchscreen dominates the center of the dashboard and is paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
The base variant of the 2023 GLC also comes with standard wireless device charging, the MBUX vehicle-assistant feature, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, adaptive headlights and heated front seats. Moving up to the Exclusive trim adds a Burmester premium audio system with music streaming, navigation, a 360-degree camera, enhanced ambient lighting and illuminated door sills. The range-topping Pinnacle trim includes a head-up display, enhanced headlights, heat- and noise-insulating glass, and augmented video for the navigation system. Standard safety features include a driver attention monitor, blind spot monitoring, parking assist and forward collision alert.
Performance for the 2023 GLC300 comes from a 255-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. A nine-speed automatic is the lone transmission available. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
