CARS.COM β Lincoln’s “quiet luxury” movement continues with the unveiling of the Navigator Concept at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. A grille made up of small Lincoln shield badges is surrounded by large LED headlights. The concept’s sleek body lines draw back from the headlights to the LED taillights, which stretch across the entire rear of the concept.
Occupants enter through giant gull-wing doors that combine the usually separate front and rear doors into a single pillarless door on each side. Lincoln has said these doors most likely won’t make it to production, but we can dream. More likely to be on a production Navigator are the concept’s three-tiered hideaway side steps. The driver of the concept used these during the reveal.
