The vehicle will debut on Nov. 17, the first press day of the trade show. Additionally, Honda will unveil a plug-in hybrid platform that showcases the automaker’s next-generation hybrid technology.
Honda announced earlier that it would introduce an all-electric vehicle to the U.S. by 2012. It’s previously stated that the plug-in hybrid system was developed for midsize and larger vehicles – such as the Honda Accord – and will show up on a Honda vehicle, again by 2012.
Honda’s next-generation hybrid system, which is powered by lithium-ion batteries, will debut on the 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid in the not-too-distant future.
There are no photos yet of these new vehicles. Well keep you posted when photos and more details are made available.
