Chevy Volt Getting New Look

As GM prepares for extensive road-testing of its future plug-in-hybrid Volt, word came down from a key executive that the car won’t resemble the well-received concept. The edgy design, which looks futuristic, simply isn’t aerodynamic. The company tested the design in a wind tunnel and was disappointed with how poorly it performed; aerodynamics are key in gaining fuel efficiency. It seems the company has to go back to the drawing board on the Volt, likely disappointing many fans.
