It’s still weird that Bentley makes an SUV, right? It obviously makes sense from a business perspective but, like, it just feels wrong, doesn’t it? Nevertheless, Bentley has a new special-edition Bentayga coming — the V8 Design Series.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 powered Bentayga Design Series features a body-colored lower front bumper and unique 22-inch Palladium Grey Paragon wheels that include a self-leveling Bentley badge in the center. That’s right: Even as the V-8 and its 542 horsepower and 568 pounds-feet of torque hustle the Bentayga to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph, the “B” badge remains upright.
Inside, new two-tone seats in four unique color patterns and a colored accent line are available, along with a new carbon-fiber weave pattern. Buyers can also add the 2019-exclusive Centenary Package, celebrating Bentley’s 100th anniversary with Centenary Gold paint. Configure your … dream SUV? … now.
