2026 Toyota Corolla Cross Receives Light Refresh, More Color Choices

Toyota’s smallest and most affordable SUV, the Corolla Cross, is getting a slight update for the 2026 model year. Two new front fascia designs now differentiate gas-powered and hybrid models, the former with a larger black grille and the latter getting a perforated body-color piece that visually ties it closer to modern electrified vehicles.

Inside, the 2026 Corolla Cross now features an available 10.5-inch touchscreen, 2.5 inches larger than the standard display. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is also optional. The Cold Weather Package, which includes heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, is now optional on the all-wheel-drive LE and SE trims and standard on the range-topping AWD XLE and hybrid XSE trim levels. Corolla Cross XLE buyers can now choose the new Portobello interior color, as well. And while Toyota redesigned the little SUV’s center console, there’s no new functionality.
A new exterior color, Cavalry Blue, is offered in a monotone finish on gas-powered Corolla Crosses and with a black roof on hybrid models. There are also fresh wheel designs available: dark-gray 18-inch pieces on the gas-powered XLE and black 18s on the hybrid XSE.

What Are the 2026 Corolla Cross’ Powertrain Specs?
There are no mechanical changes to the 2026 Corolla Cross. The gas-burning L, LE and XLE are still powered by a 169-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine good for 150 pounds-feet of torque and paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and AWD is available. All hybrid Corolla Crosses (the S, SE and XSE) include standard AWD; the hybrid mates a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with three electric motors and a CVT for a combined 196 hp.
Release Date and Pricing
The 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross will go on sale later in 2025. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
