Powertrain Specs and MPG

For 2025, the Trailblazer provides two turbocharged engine options: a 137-horsepower, turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission and front-wheel drive and a 155-hp, turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder available with either front- or all-wheel drive. The AWD version uses a nine-speed automatic transmission.

With the 1.2-liter engine, the Trailblazer is EPA-rated at 30/31/30 mpg city/highway/combined. Fuel economy for the FWD 1.3-liter version is EPA-estimated at 29/33/31 mpg; the AWD version is rated at 26/29/27 mpg.

Trim Levels and Safety

The 2025 Trailblazer comes in four trims: LS, LT, Activ and RS, each with specific features.

The base LS includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, cloth seats, a four-speaker audio system and the Chevy Safety Assist suite of safety tech, which features forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane departure steering assist and automatic emergency braking. It also has an 11-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The LT trim adds keyless entry, remote start and a six-speaker audio system. Options include automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver seat and 18-inch wheels.

The Activ trim, which is designed for light off-road use, comes with 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, off-road suspension tuning and a skid plate. Inside, it includes synthetic leather seats, a wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats.

The RS trim has a sportier design, with 19-inch wheels and blacked-out exterior details. Otherwise, its equipment mirrors the Activ’s.

Higher trims offer additional safety options like adaptive cruise control and a Driver Confidence Package that includes rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert and blind spot monitoring.
