The 2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV is the German automaker’s first electric vehicle to have the performance-oriented AMG badge affixed to its name. What makes the AMG version different from the standard EQE SUV is its horsepower — and lots more of it. Now available at Mercedes-Benz dealerships, pricing for the 2024 AMG EQE SUV starts at $110,450 (all prices include a $1,150 destination charge).

Increased All-Electric Power

With its two electric motors, 90.6-kilowatt-hour battery, and standard all-wheel drive, maximum output is a whopping 677 horsepower and 738 pounds-feet of torque. That headline-grabbing level of performance comes along for the ride with the available AMG Dynamic Plus Package’s Race Start boost; the package also raises the top speed to 149 mph. Mercedes says this allows the AMG version of the EQE SUV to accelerate from 0-60 mph in only 3.4 seconds. For reference, the regular EQE SUV produces anywhere from 288 to 402 horsepower and scoots up to 60 mph in as little as 4.6 seconds depending on the chosen trim and powertrain.

AMG Touches Inside and Out

There will be two available trims: the standard model that comes with pretty much every feature offered on the non-AMG EQE SUV and a range-topping trim called the Pinnacle.

As you might expect given its six-figure starting price, the base model of the electric SUV isn’t lacking in technology and luxury features. The AMG EQE SUV comes standard with the MBUX Hyperscreen, a curved glass surface that spans the entire width of the dashboard. It combines a 17.7-inch center touchscreen that serves as the primary interface for the infotainment system with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display that faces the driver and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the front passenger. Additional standard tech includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, navigation, satellite radio and a Burmester 3D surround-sound audio system.

Inside, AMG EQE SUV buyers have a choice of Nappa leather upholstery or synthetic leather with red contrast stitching; both options come with embossed front head restraints and seat pattern designs unique to the AMG EQE. Depending on the chosen trim and seat upholstery, the steering wheel is finished in a mix of Nappa leather, Nappa leather and microfiber, or microfiber and carbon fiber.

Exterior differences from the standard EQE SUV are subtle and include an AMG gloss-black grille, small front air splitter and rear diffuser. Two appearance packages are optional: the AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package Plus, which both feature exterior trim finished in gloss black and black chrome. Wheel sizes range from 21 to 22 inches.

Additional standard features include an air suspension, active rear-wheel steering assist, a surround-view parking camera, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, blind spot assist, active park assist and a panoramic moonroof.

Starting at $113,750, the Pinnacle trim adds additional features like a head-up instrument display, augmented reality navigation, active ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, six USB ports, AMG logo projectors on the front doors, and an interior air purifier and fragrance diffuser.
