2018 Audi A3, RS3: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 3,300 model-year 2018 Audi A3 and RS3 sedans

The Problem: The latching pins for the center rear-seat head restraint may be missing, which could lead to detachment and injury in the event of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the head restraints and replace any that are missing pins for free.

What Owners Should Do: Audi began notifying owners March 7. Owners can call the automaker at 800-253-2834, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
