2017 Jeep Compass Review: Photo Gallery

Outside, the model gets sleek new styling that borrows heavily from the Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. It wears an overall more rugged look, from its raked seven-slot grille in front and pronounced character lines running the length of the body to its masculine wheel haunches and wraparound LED taillights in back.

Inside, the dash has a logical layout and the interior has a clean design with interesting shapes, textures and color accents. One highlight is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ latest generation of the Uconnect multimedia system; Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration also are new this year.

We pitted the Compass against six other compact SUVs to determine which is the best compact SUV for 2017. Stay tuned for the results of our Challenge to find out. In the meantime, check out the gallery above.
