Mazda unveiled its all-new compact crossover, the 2016 CX-3, today at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The long-nosed front end is characterized by a silver seven-fin grille and headlights resembling skeptically narrowed eyes. The automaker says blacked-out D-pillars help create a sleek side view while the solid mass of the rear end conveys strength.

Interior flourishes include soft-touch surfaces with a “stitch-like” finish, dark red accent color on the door trim armrests and floor console kneepads, and sophisticated leather and suede seats adorned with piping.
