The Kia Optima has always been a fresh alternative to bland-looking midsize sedan competitors, and the updated 2016 version builds on that stance. The midsize sedan debuted at the 2015 New York International Auto Show with a longer body, fresh styling and a new turbocharged engine.
Kia says the new cabin wears more soft-touch materials and classier-looking finishes such as stitching along the dash and doors as well as metallic accents throughout. Redesigned seats offer more upper back and thigh support and deeper side bolsters with more supportive foam, according to the automaker.
