CARS.COM — Luxury-SUV shoppers will pay a little more and get a little more in return for the refreshed-for-2016 Infiniti QX60. The three-row SUV gets lightly revised exterior and interior styling, as well as an expanded menu of safety and driver-assist technologies. The QX60 starts at $43,595 — just $200 more than the outgoing model, including a $995 destination charge.

Competitors include the 2016 Acura MDX, which starts at $43,955; the 2017 Audi Q7, which starts at $55,750; the 2016 Lincoln MKT, which starts at $44,295; and the 2016 Buick Enclave, which starts at $39,990.

Exterior updates are subtle and include a more aggressive-looking front end, a redesigned grille, new 18- and 20-inch wheel designs and a more-sculpted overall appearance. Cabin revisions include graphite weave accents, stitching on the upper dashboard and a new shift lever shared with the Q60 coupe. The SUV also is available in two new colors: Jade Green and Hagane Blue.

The new Deluxe Technology Package, which combines the previous Deluxe Touring and Technology packages, adds forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and a predictive forward collision warning. That’s in addition to a backup collision intervention system, a 360-degree camera with moving object detection, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and a premium Bose stereo system with 15 speakers. The Premium Plus Package, which includes navigation with Infiniti Connection and Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, adds $2,900, a $100 discount from 2015.

Trim levels carry over, as do powertrains. Beyond the front-wheel-drive base model, the other three versions include the all-wheel-drive, hybrid and all-wheel-drive hybrid versions, starting at $45,395, $53,045 and $54,445, respectively; all prices include destination.

The 2016 QX60 goes on sale this year.
