The updated exterior style of the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V sedan and coupe — both making their debut now at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show — goes a long way toward injecting some magic into the meh of their predecessors. V-Series flourishes like flared fenders, aggressive-looking front- and rear-end style and additional performance flourishes flirt with the line between elegant and ostentatious.
That aesthetic extends to the interior, as well, with a faux-suede-wrapped steering wheel and shifter and optional 16-way-adjustable and microfiber-covered Recaro performance seats. That’s in addition to a Performance Data Recorder that captures high-definition video of the forward view for a post-race self-critique right on the car’s multimedia touch-screen.
