A lot of “er” words can be used to describe the redesigned-for-2015 Honda Fit: sportier, shorter, wider, longer, roomier, lighter and faster, in addition to being more fuel efficient than the outgoing model. The sporty look comes courtesy of aggressive exterior styling with a new grille and headlight design, and new five-spoke wheel design, while a character line emphasizes the vehicle’s aerodynamic profile. In the rear, reflectors and LED taillights run along the hatch, while chrome tailgate detailing and a rear diffuser provide further visual interest.

Inside, space gets a bump thanks to an all-new platform that incorporates a center-mounted fuel-tank layout; passenger volume and legroom also increase. The new Fit will be available with tech and convenience features including Bluetooth connectivity, a multi-angle rearview camera, smart entry with push-button start, heated side mirrors, a moonroof, heated front seats, Honda’s LaneWatch display and a 7-inch touch-screen. That’s in addition to soft-touch materials and, for the first time, optional leather-trimmed seating. The Fit goes on sale in the spring. Check out the gallery below.
