2015 Chrysler Town and Country: Explaining the Trim Levels
CARS.COM — Busy families know there’s no more functional family hauler than the iconic minivan. The Chrysler Town & Country has been a heavyweight in the segment since I used to rollerblade home after school to catch the latest “Full House” episode.

For today’s discerning consumer, the Town & Country Chrysler minivan adds two new trim levels (the LX and the Limited Platinum), bringing the total lineup for the 2015 model year to six trims. That should assure there’s a Town & Country to fit every family and every family’s budget, but it also adds some confusion to the shopping process.
The 2014s are still currently on sale alongside 2015s. There are nearly 9,000 new 2014s in Cars.com’s national inventory and approximately 5,700 2015 models.
2015 Chrysler Town & Country LX $30,990
Basics: A 283-horsepower, 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine; six-speed automatic transmission with Fuel Economizer mode; power sliding doors; power liftgate; seat-mounted air bags; a driver-side inflatable knee airbag; advanced multistage driver and front passenger air bags; side-curtain air bags for all three rows; trailer-sway damping.
Interior and tech: Leather-trimmed first- and second-row seats, Stow ‘n Go seating, rear backup camera, standard SiriusXM Radio with one-year subscription.
Miscellaneous: Body-colored power-folding heated side mirrors, three-zone manual temperature control, second-row high-resolution 9-inch screen and DVD console, standard manually adjustable driver’s seat, 17-inch Satin Silver-painted cast-aluminum wheels.

2015 Chrysler Town & Country Touring: $31,960
Basics: The touring trim adds a standard eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Interior and tech: Leather-trimmed first- and second-row seats, Stow ‘n Go seating, rear backup camera.
Miscellaneous: Automatic headlights, particulate air filter for the air temperature control unit, chrome bodyside molding.
Options: “Intermediate luxury” second-row captain’s chairs (these do not fold into the floor but still offer in-floor storage), Uconnect, engine block heater, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, rear park assist system, tire pressure monitor, rain-sensitive front wipers, SmartBeam headlights, bright door handles with remote keyless entry, SafetyTec Group and Trailer Tow Prep Group.
2015 Chrysler Town & Country S: $34,190
Basics: Adds standard black chrome grille, black bezel halogen quad headlights, 17-inch Hyper Black-painted aluminum wheels.
Interior and tech: Torino leather seats with Ballistic cloth inserts, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Piano Black trim accents, standard second- and third-row high-resolution 9-inch Blu-ray DVD screens, standard super console between driver and front passenger.
