Power for our test S5 comes from a 333-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6; our car was also equipped with the Black Optic Package, a $1,300 option that adds includes 19-inch, five-spoke wheels in a titanium finish and gloss-black trim that stood out against our test car’s $550 Misano Red paint color.
