2014 Nissan Maxima: What's New

Vehicle Overview

The Maxima is offered in two trim levels, 3.5 S and 3.5 SV, both with a 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The five-seat Maxima serves as Nissan’s flagship sedan and competes with cars like the Dodge Charger and Ford Taurus.

The front-drive Maxima was last redesigned for the 2009 model year, so industry analysts expect a new version to arrive for the 2015 model year, though Nissan has not confirmed that.
