The problem: Drivers may note a lit Check Engine light and spark knock on heavy acceleration at warm ambient temperatures. This is due to a software glitch in the engine control module.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the engine control module software with a new program that eliminates this condition.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the new vehicle warranty.
