2014-2018 Audi RS7: Recall Alert

CARS.COM

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 3,500 model-year 2014-18 Audi RS7 luxury performance hatchbacks

The Problem: The tire information label on these vehicles incorrectly lists the combined maximum weight as 1,146 pounds/520 kilograms, but the correct combined maximum weight is 992 pounds/470 kilograms. Overloading the vehicle based on the tire information label increases the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the tire information label for free.

What Owners Should Do: Audi manufacturer Volkswagen will begin notifying owners April 8. Owners can call the automaker at 800-253-2834, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
