The problem: The 12-volt battery may fail in cold-weather conditions due to faulty batteries being installed in the factory. Vehicles registered in the following states are affected: Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Corrective action: Dealers will replace faulty batteries.
Warranty info: This service is being performed free of charge under Infiniti’s new-vehicle or extended warranty, whichever applies.
