2014-2015 Cadillac CTS: Recall Alert
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 2,800 model-year 2014-15 Cadillac CTS V-Sport sedans equipped with turbocharged 3.6-liter V-6 engines
The Problem: The roll pins in the rear-axle differential may fracture, increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the rear-axle differential for free.
What Owners Should Do: Cadillac manufacturer GM will begin notifying owners March 9. Owners can call Cadillac at 800-333-4223, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
