Sure, Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays notes that the new car-based platform of the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder helps make this three-row crossover more fuel efficient and family friendly. Sure, the updated exterior design is generally well-done, and the interior is serviceably comfortable. Sure, cargo space is generous behind the third row, if lacking overall. But when you have a glove compartment that fits a laptop, owner’s manual, enough bottled water to make family travel a nightmare and, um, Mays’ shoe … well, just watch the video and see for yourself.
