Affected vehicles include model-year 2021-25 Siennas. The issue is with the bolts connecting the 60/40-split, folding third-row seatbacks to the recliner assemblies, which may not have been tightened enough, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Dealers will tighten the bolts on affected vehicles, as necessary, for free. Toyota will notify owners by mid-April, but those with further questions can contact the automaker at 800-331-4331, visit Toyota.com/recall, call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
