Stubbornly inflated new-car prices may have all you St. Paddy’s Day weekend shoppers feeling like they’re after your lucky charms — but as sure as they dye the Chicago River green in Cars.com’s Irish-proud home city, we’ve got a pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow for ya in the form of one of our most popular news articles of the week. If you’re in the market for an SUV or pickup truck, your wish may just be granted by Cars.com’s monthly roundup of the best new-car deals we could find.

We’re only halfway through March, so you still have plenty of time to hunt for these deals, starting with the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, on which GM is offering a factory discount of roughly 2% to 4% off. Elsewhere in SUV incentives, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available at a factory discount of roughly 1% to 13% off. And if your next new car must come with a bed, pickup deals include the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and the 2022 Ram 1500 in Big Horn or Lone Star guises. All four of these discounts run through April 3, so follow the link below to the No. 2 news story on this week’s countdown of most read articles to learn about the discounts in full detail.

Charging into second place just behind our new-car discounts roundup is another roundup, this one listing the electric vehicles that offer the most miles of driving range — and, therefore, the least range anxiety, as the phenomenon is known. Now, far be it from us to trivialize anyone’s anxiety in these uniquely anxious times, but we feel compelled to note that the majority of Americans commute less than 50 miles per day, according to the EPA — a paltry figure any modern EV can achieve.

But if your commute is from, say, Los Angeles to Las Vegas and you’re afraid you won’t have time to stop for a charge-up in between without being late for work, we’ve identified 15 EVs that’ll get you there. They range in range from 516 miles at the high down to 301 miles at the low and in price from just under $156,000 down to just over 50 grand, and they include sedans, SUVs and pickup trucks from both mainstream and luxury brands. For the full list, rankings, ranges and respective prices for EVs that go the extra mile, follow the link below to the No. 3 news story of the week.

Beyond that, we have headlines on the Land Rover Defender, Lexus NX 450h+, Dodge Durango, Toyota RAV4 and more — so don’t stop reading till the digits double. Here are the top 10 news stories Cars.com readers couldn’t get enough of in the past week:
