Polestar Offers Up to $20,000 Off Lease Deal for 3 SUV

The future of the federal electric vehicle tax credit may be in limbo, but even though its vehicles aren’t eligible for the credit, Polestar has an even sweeter deal for lessees of its electric 3 SUV. Until the end of March, the Volvo subsidiary is offering up to $20,000 off the base single-motor variant of the EV.

Lessees can get $15,000 off their lease with Polestar’s Clean Vehicle Incentive. Of course, lessees don’t pay full price for the vehicle, so what that means is that lease payments are calculated based on a price lower than the Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor’s base price of $68,900 (including the $1,400 destination fee). The offer specifically applies to 27-month leases with a $599 monthly payment and a 10,000-mile annual limit. It’s also only applicable to the rear-wheel-drive single-motor version of the 3 and requires a $5,000 down payment plus the first month’s $599 monthly payment at signing.
In addition, Tesla owners interested in switching brands are eligible for an offer that is better still. Polestar is offering an additional $5,000 off for lessees who currently own or lease one of Tesla’s EVs. Shoppers will need to act fast to claim either offer, however, as they’re only good through March 31.
