Mercedes-Benz GLC350e PHEV Starts at $61,050, Gets 54-Mile Electric Range


The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC350e marks the return of the GLC-Class plug-in hybrid, and the numbers are in: It has an impressive 54-mile electric-only range, according to the automaker. Mercedes also released the amount you’ll need to pay for that long electric-only range; the GLC350e has a starting price of $61,050 (all prices include $1,150 destination).

Availability and Pricing
The 2025 GLE350e is available to purchase now. Like Mercedes’ other GLC-Class SUVs, the GLC350e offers three trims: Standard, Exclusive and Pinnacle. Full lineup pricing is as follows.

Three Trims to Choose From
While Standard is the base trim level, it comes decently loaded with desirable features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a self-leveling suspension, and keyless entry and start. It runs on the latest generation of Mercedes’ MBUX infotainment system, which includes navigation as standard. Owners can also set up a digital key, which enables them to lock, unlock and control select vehicle functions from an app on their smartphone. Mercedes’ Parktronic active parallel-parking assistance, which can take over steering and parallel park the SUV for you, comes standard, as well. The GLC350e also includes a standard central airbag between the two front seats.
Stepping up to the Pinnacle trim adds a Burmester 3D surround sound system, extra ambient lighting, illuminated door sills and a parking package that includes a 360-degree camera. It also adds the Guard 360 anti-theft and anti-collision system, which can sound alarms when the vehicle is broken into or towed away as well as take and send the owner photos in those events or when the vehicle is hit when parked.
The Exclusive trim adds a head-up display, a digital light system that can project symbols pertinent to driving hazards on the road ahead, and heat- and noise-insulating glass.
These trims aren’t the only options for customization, however. Buyers can add the performance-inspired AMG-Line Package or the dark-trim Night Package for the exterior.
Powertrain Specs and MPG[-e]
Using those 54 electric-only miles shouldn’t be a slow slog; even when using the electric motor only, the 2025 GLC350e should provide enough torque to get out of its own way, as it puts out just 134 horsepower but an impressive 325 pounds-feet of torque. With the 201-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the GLC350e makes a combined 313 hp and 406 pounds-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard. According to Mercedes, the SUV’s 24.8-kilowatt-hour battery can get fully charged in roughly 30 minutes using its 60-kilowatt onboard DC charger.
The electric motor is enough to significantly improve the GLC’s fuel economy. On its own, the gasoline engine gets 23/28/25 mpg city/highway/combined, per Mercedes (official EPA ratings are not yet available). Those figures improve greatly when combined with the hybrid system, to 60/70/64 mpg-equivalent.
