How Much Is the Redesigned 2026 Genesis GV70?

Genesis updated its GV70 SUV for the 2026 model year, tweaking the front and rear styling and updating the interior tech with a new digital dashboard, refined voice controls and over-the-air update capability. Additionally, Genesis made only one change to the GV70’s trim-level hierarchy with the update, ditching the cheapest V-6 variant, the 3.5T Sport. While the changes hone the GV70’s look, they’re unlikely to dull our enthusiasm for the luxury compact SUV.

What Are the 2026 Genesis GV70’s Trim Levels and Features?
The entry-level 2.5T establishes a solid foundation for the GV70’s luxury credentials. It rides on 19-inch wheels and features LED headlights with automatic high beams, a hands-free power liftgate, and keyless entry and starting. Its cabin is upholstered in synthetic leather and includes power-adjustable and heated front seats, nine speakers and dual-zone automatic climate control. The new dashboard combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen into a single 27-inch display with navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
As with the GV70’s luxury features, the base 2.5T sets a strong baseline for the model in terms of advanced driver-assistance systems. Standard tech includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, Highway Driving Assist (which integrates adaptive cruise control and lane-centering steering for smoother operation of both), blind spot intervention, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, a driver-attention monitor, road-sign recognition, and front and rear parking sensors.
The biggest item in the upgrade to the 2.5T Select is the panoramic moonroof. This trim level also adds a power tilt/telescoping steering column, memory settings for the driver’s seat, wireless device charging and aluminum interior trim.
In the 2.5T Advanced, the seats are wrapped in real leather with ventilation for the fronts. The Advanced also adds a Bang & Olufsen audio system, a heated steering wheel and ambient cabin lighting with backlit trim. It also adds a 360-degree parking camera, blind spot cameras, side parking sensors and automatic braking for the rear parking sensors.
The GV70 Sport trims get unique exterior styling tweaks, and the 2.5T Sport Prestige rides on 21-inch wheels. It gains synthetic leather dash trim, an upgraded driver’s seat with adjustable thigh support and side bolsters, three-zone automatic climate control, aluminum pedals, and Digital Key 2, which allows owners to use a paired smartphone as the GV70’s key.
The entry-level V-6 variant, the 3.5T Sport Advanced, has all the features of the 2.5T Advanced, plus a couple from the Sport Prestige. It reverts back to 19-inch wheels but gets Genesis’s Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview, which scans the road ahead and proactively adjusts the dampers at individual corners in anticipation of upcoming bumps and divots. It also features the synthetic leather dash and upgraded driver’s seat. The 3.5T Sport Advanced also gains Highway Driving Assist 2, which upgrades the base system for a degree of hands-on semi-autonomous highway driving.
Twenty-one-inch wheels make their way back under the range-topping 3.5T Sport Prestige, which also features an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential and piles on more luxury items, including Nappa leather, a synthetic suede headliner, a head-up display, heated outboard second-row seats, rear-window shades and carbon-fiber interior trim. The 3.5T Sport Prestige adds automated parking capability.
What Are the 2026 Genesis GV70’s Powertrain Specs and MPG?
The GV70 2.5T has a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 300 horsepower and 311 pounds-feet of torque, and a 375-hp, twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 propels the 3.5T with 391 pounds-feet of torque. Both engines are backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
Official fuel-economy estimates are not yet available for the 2026 GV70, but they’re unlikely to change from the 2025 model’s figures. The four-cylinder 2025 GV70 returned an EPA-estimated 22/28/24 mpg city/highway/combined, and the V-6 was rated at 18/24/20 mpg.
