2019 Kia K900 Video Review

If you didn’t know Kia made a large luxury sedan in the form of the K900, the new model might make you take notice. Kia unveiled the redesigned 2019 K900 at the 2018 New York International Auto Show with some more interesting exterior styling details as well as a remade cabin.

Outside, the LED headlights are the focus of the redesign, wearing what Kia calls a “duplex” design, which essentially looks like multiple rings in the light housing. The lights flank a wider, bejeweled grille that contains 176 gemlike cells. Overall, its face wears a more dynamic look for 2019.

Kia says the K900 shares more of its architecture with the Stinger mid-size sedan than the G90 full-size sedan from Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury brand … but the interior is strikingly similar to the G90’s. The 12.3-inch widescreen multimedia display sits front and center on the dash, looking almost identical to the one in the Genesis G90. Like that unit, the K900’s infotainment system also uses a controller knob, which sits on the center console between the front seats, for most functions.
