2018 Audi S5 Review: Photo Gallery

CARS.COM — The 2018 Audi S5 seen at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show features subtle exterior changes from the previous generation. The new coupe’s lines are sharper, combining with an updated grille and lower stance to produce a sportier look. LED daytime running lamps and LED taillights are standard, and the standard xenon headlights can be upgraded to full LED headlights.

The refinements continue inside, as well. S5 models will feature unique massaging sport seats, a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Other standard features include a panoramic sunroof, LED ambient lighting, aluminum interior trim, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Virtual Cockpit that has impressed us in other Audi models is optional, as is a 19-speaker, 755-watt Bang & Olufsen stereo.
Sadly, there is no manual transmission available for the S5, but the A5 can be had with a six-speed manual. The S5’s traditional automatic gear selector is replaced by an electronic gear selector and the previously integrated dashboard media screen is now a “floating” version mounted to the dashboard.
