Vehicle Overview The Suzuki SX4 is derived from an established overseas model, the Swift, and boasts a generous list of standard safety features. It’s available as the Sport sedan, the Crossover hatchback and the new SportBack hatchback. All compete with other small vehicles such as the Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Mazda3.
New for 2010 A more powerful 2.0-liter engine and new six-speed manual and continuously variable automatic transmissions head the changes for the SX4 line. There is also a new SportBack version.
Exterior From the center roof pillar forward, the SX4 Sport is a dead ringer for the SX4 Crossover, featuring the same stylishly assertive face with creased bodywork. The SportBack ditches the Crossover’s roof rack for a cleaner profile. The SportBack and Sport sedan also have a lower ride height and firmer suspension than the Crossover.
