  • Excellent, super clean unmolested, runs strong.

This was a great find when I needed something to do besides watch TV. Looking for another car to rescue from possible hacks. This car will not disappoint. You keep as a collector car or drive it like you stole it. Strong running, everything works and I fixed using OEM parts to keep original as possible with exception of Coil Packs (Accel is great aftermarket equipment) and Alternator (impossible to find OEM new, reman yes).

  • Best sleeper ever!

This car is a grocery getting sleeper. It's crazy fast and stops on a dime. The Dark Toreador Red is a rare one. Not the rarest but the runner up. With light gray leather seats and black accented interior, it is love at first sight. This car was built like a tank. A full boxed frame and an air bagged suspension on the rear. Wonderful and exciting to drive. Highly recommended.

  • A fun car

The car was Mercury try into the performance area. Wish they built something comparable today. It has better than average performance and good mpg for a large rwd car.

  • This car is like a full sized performance car

I purchased my first one used in 2005. Love the car. I put 120,000 miles on it and I was still able to sell it for what almost what I paid for it 6 years prior. I like it so much, I bought another one which I still drive today.

  • Best balance of Power and Practicality.

This care is a real hidden gem. It has great comfort and power. It is a rare vehicle but has a lot of common parts to keep it running for a very long time. If I was to design a car for myself I could not have come closer than this vehicle.

  • Outstanding Vehicle - All Around

When I found my dark toreador red Marauder (thanks to Cars.com), it was love at first sight. These were only made two years (2003-2004), and there were less than a thousand 'red' ones. But whatever color you get (they had a beautiful blue in 2003), these big beautiful cars have so much more than meets the eye (but the eye-appeal is extremely noteworthy and head-turning for sure!) For anyone seeking a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (as my original search was for), I HIGHLY recommend spending the extra money for one of these rare and beautiful Marauders.

  • A dying breed

Big, comfortable, fast. Last of a dying breed. This car is NOT politically correct and could care less what you think. It drinks gas, it's appearance brings fear to children and makes the yuppie econo cars and hybrids shake in their very boots. It's raw but refined and easily the best and favorite car I've ever driven. Get an 04, it got the updated transmission. Skip the moonroof.

  • Whatta Great Car

The marauder was a very limited production sports sedan. It is classy, beautiful, sturdy, reliable, advanced, sporty, a 'head turner', technologically way up there, and last but not lease, a bargain. The acquisition cost of this teriffic car is within anyones budget. But one, and love it for years to come.

  • what a Bad A$s Car

This car was very fun to drive, mustang cobra engine, even though it was a tank it could beat almost anything on the road, it comes stock with dual flowmaster polished stainless exhaust with huge tips, to tell you the truth, the best sounding engine/exhaust combination ive ever heard, and i am not a big fan of Ford products. The took the grand marquis and added a cooler looking rear bumper with marauder stamped in it, and and much cooler, cobra-inspired front bumper with fog lights and has stock 19 inch chrome rims. ver very cool, not very fuel efficient, but not the worst.

  • A breeze from the past

Mercury came up with a winner on this one reaching back into yesteryear for a name that fittingly adheres to the car. The smoothness along with the power makes for a very appealing car-although some may complain that it is too big. Even though it takes alot of styling cues from the Grand Marquis, the Marauder takes on its own idenity by adding a few simple touches like the floor gearshift and the 302 horsepower lurking beneath the hood. Overall a good muscle car for the money as well as a comfortable passenger car for 5 adults.
